Martine Dohé-Nieweg was born in 1943. From the
sixties she studied pottery,
sculpturing and drawing with many acknowledged artists. Soon her work
was
exhibited in regional arts centres, while she was getting her first
commissions at the same time.
In 1980 Martine became a member of the Leidschendamse
Kunstkring, the
regional board of artists. In 1999 she returned to her old love for
glass.
She studied with Frank van Ham and other specialists at home and abroad
and
created an impressive art collection, part of which is shown in
expositions
and on this site.
